Over the past week Emily has made a great discovery about me. I am like a Tag Cloud. At first I was confused, because I was wondering why would I be compared to a Tag Cloud. It was explained to me in layman’s terms that in the middle of my tag cloud lies one major tag that supersedes all other tags- Social Media Marketing. As she went on about not being able to get top or any ranking with the marriage tag, or the family tag in my tag cloud. I just pondered and day dreamed about a blog post “Tag Cloud - My life in a nutshell….”
She is very much right. The idea of being social with an audience that in turn resulted in marketing to them is a lot of who I am. I have been social by nature since birth (a trait I have graciously passed on to my daughter). I feel most comfortable when I am with people, or reading about them. That is why blogs intrigue me so much. The question came up “Who would want to read what I have to say?”.
I don’t know who reads this blog, but I do know if you are, you probably either like what I have to say, or have way too much time and read it just because.
As I move throughout this week, my goal is going to be more than survival. I accomplished that last week. This week I want to conquer. Conquer what you might ask? Conquer my schedule. Find time in it not to waste on TV, Olympics, or other distractions, but try to find a few minutes of time for Family, God, and me.
Yes the tag cloud will still be Social Media Marketing, but family just might show up!
